Full Property Transformation

A thirty minute brief that became a nine month transformation.

TDC was introduced to the clients on the day of settlement, with less than thirty minutes to discuss one simple job before they flew back to Europe that afternoon: remove a garden and replace it with a paved area for an outdoor table. A brief and costing schedule was with them within twenty four hours.

From overseas, the brief expanded. Over 200 square metres of natural sandstone paving replaced with leathered bluestone, the pool and fencing reinstated, completed within three weeks. After just three hours back in the property, the clients called wanting every window replaced with the double glazing they were used to in Europe. A week later, the deposit was paid.

With no driveway access for a delivery truck, a helicopter was engaged to fly the new glazing over the bay, met on site by the installation crew. Along the way TDC upgraded all internal and external paint, uncovered and resolved failed waterproofing, replaced the pool lining and tiles, redid the gardens, and installed a full bespoke furniture plan, managing the entire nine month project from start to finish.

In the client's words

"Rod and Ell have now worked on a couple of our projects and we could not have been happier with the results. One of our projects was carried out when we were living overseas, and our demands from a distance were probably greater than if we were in Australia, but none of this phased Rod in any way. His list of contacts and contractors is second to none. Projects really well done. Many, many thanks to you both."
